About the position

The Sr Product Designer at Lowe's is responsible for driving design decisions and leading tactical design work for their assigned product portfolio. This role involves delivering user flows, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect design comps. The designer collaborates with various teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery while also mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the architect and design of high-quality and engaged experiences for customers and associates.
  • Leads multiple design projects within a single product or product group, assessing user needs through discovery.
  • Utilizes best practices to build user flows, wireframes, design comps, and low-fidelity prototypes for optimal user experience.
  • Solves complex design problems at the product group level to enhance product design.
  • Employs a variety of architecture, UI design, and graphic design skills to meet business needs.
  • Delivers quality, timely deliverables such as presentations, UI elements, wireframes, and production work to leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Manages visual and interactive creative assets, develops final solutions, and contributes to the Lowe's Design System for consistency.
  • Partners with UX, development, and product teams to maintain cohesive design and experience across the product portfolio.
  • Coaches, guides, and mentors junior team members.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in UX design
  • Bachelor's degree in interaction design, graphic design, industrial design, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
