About the position

The Sr. Product Designer at Yahoo Fantasy Sports is responsible for creating engaging and innovative product experiences for over 40 million users. This role involves collaborating with a remote team to design and implement a comprehensive sports growth strategy, focusing on user-centered design and integrating user research into the development process. The designer will work on various platforms, ensuring a cohesive design system while mentoring teammates and contributing to a vibrant design community.

Responsibilities

• Shape and implement a comprehensive sports growth strategy based on market insights and customer needs.
• Transform broad, ambiguous challenges into clear, valuable, and delightful solutions.
• Integrate user research and data insights into every stage of development.
• Apply best practices across various platforms and devices, contributing to a cohesive design system.
• Mentor and provide feedback to teammates and cross-functional partners with empathy and humor.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital product design experience for iOS, Android, and web platforms.
• Well-designed portfolio showcasing excellence in visual design, interaction design, prototyping, motion design, micro animations, and product thinking.
• Experience leading a user-centered design process from end-to-end.
• Proficient in Figma, Origami, After Effects, and other design tools for creating concepts, prototypes, assets, and specifications.
• Strong analytical background, leveraging data to drive business decisions.
