About the position

The Senior Product Development Manager at Mercy is responsible for creating integrated and holistic solutions that address consumer needs. This role emphasizes the optimization of the product development process and the introduction of new products annually. The manager will transition the focus from a Mercy-centric to a consumer-centric approach, requiring adaptability and the ability to guide teams through changes in the industry and organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated and holistic solutions to meet consumer needs.
• Optimize and update the product development process.
• Initiate and manage new product concepts from idea to commercialization.
• Ensure a portfolio of new concepts/products is available annually.
• Guide the transition from a Mercy-centric to a consumer-centric mindset.
• Mentor and supervise a team in product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in business, marketing, or a similar field.
• Master's degree in Business Administration preferred.
• 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, planning, or business development.
• Proven track record in segmentation, targeting, positioning, branding, and pricing strategies.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising and mentoring a team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Planning and organization skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and market data interpretation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in health care marketing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note).
