About the position
PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr. Product Manager 1 - Technical in Washington, DC. Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle and work directly with engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Manage backlogs and roadmaps, writing stories, and other typical agile processes.
- Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions.
- Engage in problem-solving with analytics to determine trends and root causes.
- Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making.
- Understand complex business problems across business units, geographies, and product lines.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, user research, user experience design, content, analytics, program management, sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Present product vision and create consensus both internally and with key external partner teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field.
- Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Proficiency in Java (5 years).
- Proficiency in J2EE (5 years).
- Proficiency in Oracle (5 years).
- Proficiency in IBM ODM 8.5 (5 years).
- Proficiency in ILOG JRules 7.1.1.3 (5 years).
- Proficiency in SoapUI (5 years).
- Proficiency in XML (5 years).
- Proficiency in Unix (5 years).
