About the position

The Senior Product Manager for Agile Mortgage Product & Pricing at Truist is responsible for balancing business, technology, and design priorities to deliver exceptional product and service experiences. This role involves working closely with the Product Owner to translate the vision into actionable epics and features, while also developing and maintaining a strategic delivery roadmap that aligns with business goals. The position requires a blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution, focusing on customer experience, demand, and conversion metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze, and learn about a target client segment to understand their financial needs.
  • Be an expert on competition, industry trends, and changing customer needs, demonstrating thought leadership.
  • Analyze the market and competitive environment to define a differentiated product vision.
  • Collaborate with partners to align on strategy and develop a delivery roadmap.
  • Engage key stakeholders in planning and executing projects.
  • Write epics and features in support of the defined roadmap and prioritize across teams.
  • Set Planning Increment (PI) vision and partner with product owners on feature prioritization.
  • Develop feature backlog roadmap, leading high-level deliverables including discovery and usability studies.
  • Obtain partner alignment and approvals including legal and compliance as needed.
  • Set Pricing and ensure billing follows all associated processes.
  • Create and track product metrics to inform strategy and roadmap.
  • Work with Readiness to create client and teammate facing content.
  • Ensure all Product Management Lifecycle (PML) processes are followed and lead risk presentations.
  • Attend Agile ceremonies and mentor other Product Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or equivalent experience.
  • Ten or more years of banking, financial services, or relevant work experience.
  • Five or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience.
  • Five or more years of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience working as a Product Manager.
  • Experience defining/driving vision of experience programs.
  • Proven ability to use data analytics and research to drive business decisions.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; banking or financial management education.
  • Experience working with distributed teams (onshore/offshore).
  • Certified SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (or equivalent).
