About the position

The Sr Product Manager for Amazon Business Emerging and Expansion will lead core input initiatives for Amazon Business Canada, focusing on pricing, selection, and customer verification processes. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction and roadmap for the B2B marketplace, ensuring that Amazon Business becomes the largest and most innovative platform in the sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ownership mentality, creativity, and the ability to manage ambiguity while delivering high standards of performance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business owner representing the voice of small business and individual professional customers in Canada.
  • Establish key metrics (KPIs), identify gaps, and improve performance within the scope of influence.
  • Identify and resolve strategic and tactical issues that may impair meeting goals.
  • Capture, document, and communicate business requirements, translating them into features and user stories.
  • Provide project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Conduct customer research and analyze performance data to derive actionable insights.
  • Own regular business updates on verification, selection, and pricing results, providing updates to leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Pricing, Retail, Selection, and Product teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience as a product manager or owner.
  • Experience owning technology products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
