About the position

The Sr. Product Manager for Amazon Devices Business Development is responsible for driving operational excellence and innovation within the team. This role focuses on managing the operational roadmap for the Amazon Device Portfolio, ensuring high-quality day-to-day business operations, and collaborating with technical partners to improve workflows and partnerships. The successful candidate will advocate for automation and develop long-term channel operational strategies while executing short-term programs to meet partner and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the execution of defined launch plans across internal and external stakeholder teams including account set up, order management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Identify areas for automation, lead initiatives to implement automation solutions that increase productivity and reduce manual effort.
  • Optimize internal and external processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop project tracking mechanisms with an established reporting cadence for communicating updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Finance, Product, Accounting, and Engineering.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, informing strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual agreements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing business processes, procedures and policies

  • MBA
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Experience with process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with SQL and pulling data via queries
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce or similar software
