As a Senior Product Manager for Archive Storage Security & Compliance at FalconStor, you will play a pivotal role in managing products and features throughout their entire lifecycle. This includes supporting decisions regarding enhancements until the product reaches its End of Life (EOL). You will prioritize features and specifications while considering budget, timeline, and other constraints. Your responsibilities will also involve supporting the business case for enhancements or new products, leading requirements gathering and management, and providing clear interpretations of complex requirements. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other Product Managers, Business Unit Leaders, and Engineering/R&D leaders to align product strategies into comprehensive portfolios for the business unit. In addition to managing the product lifecycle, you will review product and solution evaluation metrics from multiple sources to ensure they are incorporated into future versions. You will also support the preparation for both external and internal product events, acting as a subject matter expert during these engagements. Your strong understanding of the Security & Compliance landscape, including encryption, federal certifications, and authentication, will be crucial in guiding product development and strategy. You will leverage your technology and engineering skills to ensure that the products meet high standards of design, testing, and quality, while also aligning with business goals and customer use cases. Your role will require you to stay informed about competitors and their products, as well as potential partner relationships that could enhance the product offering. With a focus on enterprise storage protocols and security standards, you will ensure that FalconStor's products remain competitive and compliant with industry regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will need to explain complex technology concepts in a simple and intuitive manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
