About the position

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Product Manager / Business Analyst with a strong background in the tourism and theme park space. The ideal candidate will possess a robust business analyst, product owner, or analyst background, particularly in guest experience technology implementations, including access control systems. This role requires effective communication with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to develop comprehensive requirements and formal documentation that will facilitate the development of technology solutions for new premier guest experiences and destinations. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering technical and functional requirements, creating capability matrices, and leading requirements gathering meetings with senior-level executives. This position demands a polished executive presence and the ability to interface with directors, vice presidents, and critical technical resources such as solution architects. The focus will be on developing technology solutions that enhance guest experiences, with a significant emphasis on access control technologies. In addition to gathering requirements, the Senior Product Manager / BA will oversee the successful deployment of these technology solutions, ensuring they meet the established requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity for creativity in developing innovative technology solutions that significantly impact guest experiences while collaborating with key organizational leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document technical and functional requirements for guest experience technology implementations.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with senior-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Develop formal documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and capability matrices.
  • Interface with directors, vice presidents, and solution architects to develop technology solutions.
  • Ensure successful deployment of technology solutions for new guest experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with C-suite executives and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Owner, Operational Analyst, or Project Manager.
  • Professional experience within the hospitality, tourism, or theme park industries.
  • Proven experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting technical and functional requirements.
  • Experience interfacing and presenting directly to C-level executives, VPs, and directors.
  • Experience gathering requirements for projects related to guest experiences, theme park build-outs, or access control devices.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, MS Project, and Visio.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with RFID and Magnetic Stripe technologies.
  • Experience implementing guest wristband technology.
