About the position

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Product Manager / Business Analyst (BA) with a strong background in the tourism and theme park space. The ideal candidate will possess a robust business analyst, product owner, or analyst background, particularly in guest experience technology implementations, including access control systems. This role requires effective communication with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to develop comprehensive requirements and formal documentation that will facilitate the construction of technology solutions for new premier guest experiences or destinations. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering both technical and functional requirements, as well as creating capability matrixes. Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this position involves leading requirements gathering meetings with senior-level executives. The role will also require collaboration with directors, vice presidents, and critical technical resources, such as solution architects, to develop technology solutions that enhance guest experiences, with a significant focus on access control. In addition to gathering requirements, the Senior Product Manager / BA will ensure that the deployment of these technology solutions is executed successfully. This position offers an opportunity to be creative in developing innovative technology solutions that significantly impact guest experiences while working closely with key organizational leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document technical and functional requirements for guest experience technology implementations.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with senior-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Develop formal documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and capability matrixes.
  • Interface with directors, vice presidents, and solution architects to create technology solutions for guest experiences.
  • Ensure successful deployment of technology solutions related to guest experiences and access control.
  • Communicate effectively with C-suite executives to align on project goals and requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Owner, Operational Analyst, or Project Manager.
  • Professional experience within the hospitality, tourism, or theme park industries.
  • Proven experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting technical and functional requirements.
  • Experience interfacing and presenting directly to stakeholders, including C-level executives, VPs, and directors.
  • Experience gathering requirements for projects related to guest experiences, theme park build-outs, or access control devices.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, MS Project, and Visio.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with RFID and Magnetic Stripe technology.
  • Experience implementing guest wristband technology.
