About the position

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Product Manager / Business Analyst with a strong background in the tourism and theme park space. The ideal candidate will possess a robust business analyst, product owner, or analyst background, particularly in guest experience technology implementations, including access control systems. This role involves extensive communication with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to develop comprehensive requirements and formal documentation that will facilitate the construction of technology solutions for new, premier guest experiences or destinations. The successful candidate will be responsible for clear written and verbal communication to gather both technical and functional requirements, as well as capability matrices. Executive-level polish is essential, as this role requires leading requirements gathering meetings with senior executives effectively. The individual will collaborate with key stakeholders, interfacing with directors and vice presidents, as well as critical technical resources such as solution architects, to develop all technology solutions for new guest experiences, with a significant focus on access control. In this position, you will not only gather all necessary requirements but also ensure that the technology solutions developed meet those requirements. Additionally, you will be involved in overseeing the successful deployment of these solutions for new guest experiences. Responsibilities

  • Gather and document technical and functional requirements for guest experience technology implementations.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with senior-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Develop formal documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and capability matrices.
  • Interface with directors, vice presidents, and solution architects to develop technology solutions.
  • Ensure successful deployment of technology solutions for new guest experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with C-suite executives and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Owner, Operational Analyst, or Project Manager.
  • Professional experience within the hospitality, tourism, or theme park industries.
  • Proven experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting technical and functional requirements.
  • Experience interfacing and presenting directly to C-level executives, VPs, and directors.
  • Experience gathering requirements for projects related to guest experiences, theme park build-outs, or access control devices.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, MS Project, and Visio.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with RFID, Magnetic Stripe, and/or implementing guest wristband technology.
