The Sr. Product Manager for Connected Consumer Products plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of innovative consumer products. This position requires a blend of creative thinking and analytical skills, coupled with a deep understanding of market dynamics. The Product Manager will oversee the entire product development process, from initial concept through to successful launch, collaborating closely with various teams including industrial and graphic designers, engineering, sales, finance, and operations. The goal is to create products that not only stand out in the marketplace but also resonate with consumers, ensuring they meet both sales volume and profit goals. In partnership with the Category Director, the Product Manager will develop comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps. The role requires a proactive approach to market analysis, including competitive studies and leveraging market performance data from sources like retail POS, NPD, and Nielsen. The Product Manager will also be responsible for guiding the app development process, working with engineering teams and external vendors to ensure a seamless integration of technology and user experience. Additionally, the role involves developing a robust content management plan to enhance consumer value and maintaining daily communication with partner factories in Asia.
