About the position

As the Product Manager for AI Observability at Databricks, you will be responsible for developing and executing the product roadmap that enables customers to understand their data and AI operations. This role involves engaging with customers to gather requirements, defining product strategies, and coordinating with engineering and internal stakeholders to ensure successful product launches. You will focus on simplifying observability for customers, driving integration with popular tools, and improving the efficiency of customer workloads.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for AI Observability.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and challenges.
• Develop long-term product strategy and define product roadmaps.
• Coordinate product activities from vision to implementation.
• Collaborate with Data and AI Product Managers to enhance observability data consumption.
• Drive integration with tools in the data warehousing ecosystem.
• Work with product marketing on launches through various channels.
• Define and measure OKRs for the products.
• Improve customer workload efficiency by prioritizing feature development.

Requirements

• Product Management experience with a focus on user experience improvement.
• Strong written communication skills for conveying ideas simply.
• Ability to lead customer conversations and write PRDs.
• Experience in determining success metrics and prioritizing features.
• Familiarity with large enterprises, including Fortune 500 companies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Data analysis skills using SQL or Python, and experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Heap.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
