About the position

At Disney Experiences (DX) Tech & Digital, we are dedicated to creating world-class immersive digital experiences for our premier vacation brands. Our team is responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to consumers through Disney's Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Lines, and Disney Vacation Club. We oversee the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology and digitally led initiatives across various lines of business, including Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise. This role is situated within the Data Products & Platforms organization, where you will serve as a Senior Product Manager reporting to the Senior Manager of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). In this position, you will be instrumental in advancing the Governance, Risk, and Compliance data practices within our organization. You will take ownership of the GRC relationship on behalf of Data Products & Platforms, establishing strong connections with key business partners. Your responsibilities will include analyzing their needs, identifying current trends, and exploring potential partnerships to drive priority initiatives. You will also be tasked with analyzing product requirements and developing programs to ensure they are met effectively. Your role will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining production timelines across multiple initiatives that support GRC. You will be the primary point of contact for all GRC-related data needs, ensuring that you stay informed about compliance, business, and operational approaches to govern and maintain data assets. You will drive the execution of all processes in the data asset lifecycle, which includes product and industry research, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and asset launch in support of GRC. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with multi-functional teams, including data producers, engineers, data architects, business, and legal partners, to align strategies around data assets and communicate updates, releases, and roadmaps to end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners regarding GRC data needs.
  • Analyze product requirements and develop programs to ensure they are met.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple GRC initiatives.
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the data asset lifecycle, including research, planning, and asset launch.
  • Resolve critical data issues affecting GRC across data product managers and partners.
  • Translate GRC strategy into detailed data requirements for engineering teams.
  • Communicate domain updates, releases, and roadmaps to end-users.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related work experience in product management, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance data practices.
  • Proven ability to manage business relationships and measure partner satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to translate business needs into requirements.
  • Ability to summarize business use cases and communicate data structure concepts clearly.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
