About the position

As a Senior Product Manager on WEX Inc.'s Innovation & Discovery team, you will focus on identifying customer problems and validating product market fit for innovative solutions aimed at transforming operations for B2B customers. This role involves close collaboration with design and engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment, allowing you to test and learn from bold ideas and address real business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze market data to identify unmet customer needs and innovation opportunities.
• Lead discovery and experimentation efforts to explore how SaaS, data, and AI-driven products can solve customer problems.
• Conduct empathy interviews, follow-me-homes, and surveys to understand customer pain points and key moments in their experience.
• Develop and execute learning plans to test assumptions and validate product-market fit through experimentation.
• Synthesize insights from experiments, customer testing, and market research to inform product decisions.
• Create prototypes, test product-market fit, and refine based on user feedback.
• Seek opportunities to leverage AI in the product discovery and development process.
• Present findings to senior leaders and stakeholders using data-driven recommendations and user-focused insights.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant hands-on experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technology-driven product roles such as product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.
• Proven knowledge of modern product discovery and delivery techniques.
• Experience with AI-driven products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in navigating complex challenges.
• Proven track record of effective collaboration with engineers, designers, and leadership.
• Basic project management skills to drive outcomes in product development.
