About the position

As a Senior Product Manager for Digital Media at Epsilon, you will be joining a dynamic team dedicated to creating innovative digital products that drive significant business outcomes. This role is pivotal as you will be responsible for overseeing digital products that encompass display advertising, online video, audio, and connected TV. These products are essential for various marketing strategies, including competitive conquesting, re-engaging lapsed customers, and driving app downloads. You will take charge of a product line that generates over $150 million in revenue, with substantial potential for rapid growth, making this a high-impact position with considerable visibility among the company's leadership and partner teams. Your primary focus will be on sales enablement, product packaging, and competitive differentiation. You will work closely with the sales team and clients, providing insights into the marketplace and understanding unique client challenges to communicate effective solutions. This role emphasizes the importance of articulating the product's features and future direction, especially during interactions with executive leadership from Epsilon, Publicis, and various clients. You will not be defining the technical aspects of product development but will advocate for the vision and rationale behind product features to the engineering teams. In this role, you will be expected to conduct regular competitor analysis to identify areas of differentiation and train both sales and internal teams on the competitive landscape and product positioning. You will own an 18-month feature roadmap, prioritizing features based on data-driven insights. The ability to embrace unexpected opportunities and quickly assess how to support them will be crucial. The position requires minimal travel, estimated at less than 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Engage frequently with the sales team and clients to provide leadership on marketplace insights and solutions.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify areas of differentiation and communicate findings effectively.
  • Train sales and internal teams on the competitive landscape, product differentiators, and positioning.
  • Own and manage an 18-month feature roadmap with data-driven prioritization.
  • Quickly assess and support unexpected opportunities that arise in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales Enablement, Product Management, or consulting.
  • Experience in product marketing, including positioning, competitive analysis, and sales support for go-to-market strategies.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a growth mindset and motivation for continuous improvement.
  • Strong presentation and customer-facing social skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in building online advertising or marketing technology solutions, with a focus on acquisition using first-party data preferred.
  • Experience in evolving and enhancing mature products is beneficial.
  • A technical or data-centric discipline is preferred, with an MBA being a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Google DV360, the Trade Desk, and/or Yahoo.
