In this key leadership role within the Digital Payments group, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy execution of mobile payment solutions, ensuring that product management and development align with the needs of both Fifth Third's business and consumer customers. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with existing Product Management and Product Development teams to ensure that mobile channels are effectively developed to meet the diverse needs of customers and businesses served by the Payments organization. You will also be tasked with developing a long-term product and technical roadmap for mobile payments, which is critical for the success of this role. Building positive relationships with various areas of the bank, including IT, Operations, Corporate Lines of Business, Risk & Compliance, Audit, Legal, and affiliates throughout the Bancorp, will be essential to your success in this position. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, identifying and prioritizing product development opportunities, and deploying products to market within established time frames and budgets. You will be responsible for establishing pricing, profitability, packaging, promotion, and margin management strategies. Additionally, you will provide a consultative role on projects related to product and sales, introduce products to the market, and manage vendor selection and relations, including contract negotiations with business partners in Digital Payments and Operations. Oversight of development stakeholders, including IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and partners, will also be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will engage in market research and analysis to maintain and enhance your knowledge of current and evolving concepts, practices, processes, laws, regulations, and technologies in the payments market. Conducting market segment studies for product development, understanding and analyzing competition, and gaining insights into the buying habits and characteristics of clients will be crucial. You will also participate in peer group analysis and discussions, as well as lead user group participation to drive thought leadership in the mobile payments space.
