In this key leadership role within the Digital Payments group, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of the online solutions strategy, as well as product management and development necessary to meet the needs of both Fifth Third's business and consumer customers. Your primary focus will be to work collaboratively with existing Product Management and Product Development teams to ensure that online channels are effectively developed to serve the needs of customers and businesses within the Payments organization. You will also be tasked with developing a long-term product and technical roadmap for the online portal and payments solutions. This role requires you to act as a liaison between various areas of the bank, including Sales, Operations, IT, Legal, Audit, and Risk, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the product development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include ownership of the product development lifecycle, where you will identify and prioritize product development opportunities, deploy products to market within established time frames and budgets, and manage pricing, profitability, packaging, promotion, and margin management. You will also provide a consultative role on projects, introduce products to the market, and oversee vendor selection and relations, including contract negotiations with business partners in Digital Payments and Operations. Additionally, you will oversee development stakeholders such as IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Partners to ensure successful product delivery. Market research and analysis will be a critical component of your role. You will maintain and enhance your knowledge of current and evolving concepts, practices, processes, laws, regulations, and technologies in the payments market. Conducting market segment studies for product development, understanding and analyzing competition, and gaining insights into the buying habits and characteristics of clients will be essential. You will also participate in peer group analysis and discussions, as well as user group participation and leadership. As a thought leader in the payments industry, you will participate in industry forums, boards, and shows, and you may be required to publish articles, business cases, or joint presentations to share insights and promote Fifth Third's initiatives in the digital payments space.
