About the position

The Sr. Product Manager for Institutional Markets at Equitable is responsible for driving product innovation and implementation within a new start-up business focused on providing protected investment solutions to large institutional clients. This role involves managing the product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and utilizing data to inform strategic decisions. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing business and requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Institutional Markets product innovation and implementation
• Manage cross-functional and complex projects to enhance customer and prospect engagement capabilities
• Track and analyze the outcomes and impact of various initiatives post-implementation
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to coordinate efforts and identify resource and other constraints
• Use data to identify actionable insights to help drive strategic thinking, refine tactics and optimize performance of initiatives
• Develop executive presentations and present actionable recommendations to shape the strategic thinking of senior leadership
• Identify new and emerging market trends and build competitive intelligence to enable more in-depth insights and/or accelerate our growth
• Develop business cases in partnership with Team Lead, business area leaders and stakeholders to generate senior management support for initiatives

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years plus of experience in a business, financial services environment
• Experience with retirement product development, strategy, service
• Strong skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong written and oral communication skills to translate complicated technical topics into clear, concise statements
• Ability to coordinate and gain consensus with a variety of people and teams
• Bachelor's Degree
• Project management skills and attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• Strong collaborative problem solving with ability to gather, analyze and synthesize a significant amount of information, and turn it into a compelling product vision
