About the position

As a Senior Product Manager for K12 Curriculum and Content Strategy at Cengage Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy that aligns with the K12 Product Strategy. Responsibilities

• Develop a content strategy that supports the K12 Product Strategy.
• Lead the SME team in the development of curriculum-oriented content for classroom use.
• Create content development and acquisition guidelines to manage curation and appropriateness.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and inform product strategy.
• Utilize product analytics to improve content usage and curriculum coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement the content strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in technology-powered solutions as a product manager, designer, engineer, data analyst, or user researcher.
• Strong background in K-12 education and curriculum development.
• Proficient in data analytics and contextualizing large data sets.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with multiple constraints.
• Exceptional presentation skills, including written narrative proposals.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google Analytics, SQL, and/or Microsoft Access.
• Experience with search optimization and indexing.
• Experience in large-scale curriculum development.
• Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Pragmatic Marketing training.
