About the position

The Sr. Product Manager/Marketing, ID/AST, Microbiology at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing and executing a customer-centric portfolio growth strategy. This role involves collaboration with regional sales, commercial marketing, and clinical affairs to gather insights for future innovation. The position is part of the Marketing Product Management team and focuses on driving the success of the product line on a global scale, ensuring competitive positioning and effective market strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a customer-centric product line roadmap for consumables product line.
• Accountable for revenue, margin, quality, cost, adoption strategies, and product life-cycle management.
• Drive competitive intelligence and Voice of Customer research to craft effective market positioning and identify growth opportunities.
• Refine user needs and design inputs to ensure products are competitive and function as intended according to standards.
• Drive adoption and implementation of effective daily management tools and standard work in all Marketing functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, or Business, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with multiple cycles of new product launch or market development practices in medical device, pharmaceutical, or IVD industries.
• Strong grasp of the healthcare landscape, regulatory, reimbursement, and patient pathways across multiple disease states.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of time (domestic and internationally).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Microbiology (Clinical Diagnostics and Clinical Microbiology).
• Experience working in a Healthcare regulated Product Development and Sales environment, e.g., FDA, IVD.
