About the position

The Sr. Global Product Manager at Regal Rexnord is responsible for driving the success of the Conveyance Metal Wire Belting product line, particularly focusing on the Cambridge branded products. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans, ensuring product excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs, all while maintaining an 80/20 mindset. The ideal candidate should be passionate about innovation, customer success, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for the Metal Wire Belting product line or Cambridge Brand.
  • Define short-term and long-term product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to influence the product roadmap.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life using RRX 80/20 Framework.
  • Define pricing strategies and product positioning.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to design, develop, and launch new products.
  • Complete market and product requirement documentation for new product concepts.
  • Ensure timely execution of product development projects.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer pain points, preferences, and emerging trends.
  • Gather insights from customers, sales teams, and industry experts to inform product decisions.
  • Monitor competitive offerings and adjust product strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and customer service teams.
  • Provide product training and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure product compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and certifications.
  • Address quality issues promptly and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant B2B product management and new product marketing/commercialization experience in the industrial manufacturing industry.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters of Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of food, industrial, and/or consumer goods industries sector.
