About the position

The Senior Product Manager Technical (PMT) at Amazon Stores Finance Technology is responsible for developing and delivering internal products that enhance finance processes, improve controllership, and reduce manual effort through automation. This role requires a strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts, as well as the ability to drive product strategy and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive product vision and strategy in alignment with the broader financial systems vision
• Incorporate the needs of a large and diverse set of customers into a prioritized product roadmap
• Identify and execute product led finance process transformation
• Influence the tech design in partnership with engineering and ensure technology choices align with customer needs
• Identify and track relevant product metrics to measure progress towards customer impact and organizational goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
