About the position

As a Senior Product Manager on the Post Purchase team at PayPal, you will be instrumental in enhancing package tracking capabilities and launching new post-purchase solutions for merchants and consumers. This role focuses on managing integrations and partnerships while defining consumer experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating product value to merchant customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of product strategies centered around Post Purchase integrations with merchants and vendors.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop a product roadmap that addresses the needs of both merchants and consumers.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior leaders who are key stakeholders in your projects, using strategic communication to quickly build consensus and alignment.
  • Lead the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including ideation, defining requirements, design, development, and product launch.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on user feedback, market research, and their potential business impact.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and UX teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and industry trends to uncover opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Partner with go-to-market teams to effectively communicate the value of new products to merchant customers.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to continuously refine and enhance the product and user experience.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of integrations.
  • Utilize analytics and metrics to inform data-driven decisions and optimize the product strategy.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience at a tech company or consulting agency, with a focus on building products involving third-party integrations.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of APIs, platforms, and integration patterns.
  • Experience in bringing e-Commerce or B2B solutions to the market.
  • Strong understanding of e-Commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, and BigCommerce.
  • Ability to thrive with high autonomy and responsibility.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
