About the position

Datasite is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team, focusing on the strategic importance of Search and LLM technology in the M&A industry. This role offers significant visibility and impact within the company, as you will play a central role in building novel AI and Search products that guide strategy and inform the vision of Datasite's flagship product, the market-leading Virtual Data Room (VDR). Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed the expectations of our users, aligning with business goals and market needs. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and communicating a clear vision for AI and search functionalities within Datasite's VDR. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven search products, ensuring they meet high standards of performance and usability. Keeping abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in AI and search technologies will be essential, as you will use these insights to shape product strategy and maintain our market leadership. Collaboration is key in this role; you will work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to drive cohesive product development. As a bar raiser, you will ensure high standards and innovative solutions are upheld throughout the product lifecycle. Additionally, you will gather and analyze user feedback to continually improve search and AI functionalities, designing products with a deep understanding of user needs and workflows. Your leadership will inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering an environment of excellence and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear vision for AI and search functionalities within Datasite's VDR.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven search products.
• Ensure products meet high standards of performance and usability.
• Keep abreast of competitive landscape and emerging trends in AI and search technologies.
• Use insights to shape product strategy and maintain market leadership.
• Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to drive cohesive product development.
• Act as a bar raiser to ensure high standards and innovative solutions.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to continually improve search and AI functionalities.
• Design products with a deep understanding of user needs and workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, focusing on AI or Search products.
• Proven track record of successful product launches.
• Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, search technologies, and data analytics.
• Ability to guide technical development with engineering teams.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and uphold high standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and translate insights into actionable strategies.
