About the position

AXS is seeking a Senior Product Manager for SEO to lead the development and execution of our SEO product strategy and roadmap. This role is pivotal in driving incremental traffic and supporting our digital media growth initiatives. As a Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering, to identify and prioritize optimizations and create new components, templates, and experiences that enhance our Non-Brand SEO traffic. You will serve as the SEO subject matter expert, providing guidance, detailed requirements, and specifications to ensure the successful execution of SEO initiatives from ideation through to completion. This position reports to the Vice President of Optimization and MarTech, requiring a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of the SEO product strategy and roadmap, working with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product requirements. You will coordinate with design and development teams to deliver features that align with our SEO goals. Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying and mitigating SEO product issues, such as broken internal links and negative crawl impacts, to enhance overall site quality and health. You will assist in planning and executing complex initiatives, including site migrations and consolidations of multiple domains. Additionally, you will spec out landing page experiences that feature content, keywords, and internal links to drive improvements in quality and relevance. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you analyze and interpret organic traffic data to identify trends and insights that inform our business strategies. You will leverage your knowledge of SEO tools and software, such as Google Analytics and SEMrush, to design, test, and deliver insights derived from crawl analysis. This role is essential for enhancing AXS's digital presence and driving growth in our marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product requirements.
  • Coordinate with design and development teams to deliver SEO features.

  • Ensure successful execution of SEO initiatives from ideation through completion.

  • Spec out landing page experiences that feature content, keywords, and internal links.
  • Analyze and interpret organic traffic data to identify trends and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years' experience in product management, with a focus on SEO, marketing analytics, data management, and machine learning.
  • 4-6 years' SEO, data, marketing channels or martech-related product management experience.
  • 2-3 years' experience working in a complex global technology company is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, with solid understanding of SEO tools and software, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and other relevant platforms.
  • Ability to harness quantitative & qualitative data to address buyer problems and experience running consumer-facing A/B tests.
  • Experience with SEO-specific quantitative testing, such as SEO split testing.
  • Experience defining consumer product roadmaps from inception to launch.
  • Proficient in SQL/BigQuery.
  • Large-scale marketplace SEO (5-500+ million URLs) experience is highly preferred.
