About the position

The Sr. Product Manager - Tech at Amazon is responsible for developing a customer-centric roadmap to enhance the shopping experience. This role involves close collaboration with design and engineering teams to innovate and implement experiments that impact customer experience across various shopping functionalities. The position is highly visible and requires strategic thinking to prioritize opportunities that drive significant value for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Defining a CX vision for the shopping experience in partnership with the design team.
  • Developing an actionable product roadmap and influencing product/engineering teams to run experiments.
  • Managing a portfolio of experiments that span multiple teams and shopping experiences.
  • Prioritizing opportunities that drive strategic value and working with the design team to scope design efforts.
  • Driving technical conversations with engineering partners and diving deep into UX decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA
  • Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel, and other tools
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
