The Senior Product Manager-Tech for Automotive at Amazon will play a pivotal role in launching and developing innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences. The role involves collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to create and implement product visions that enhance customer convenience and selection in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of new products from definition to implementation
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Cooperate closely with the tech team on building the overall product roadmap
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs against developer experience, customer experience, and time to market
• Lead development of specifications and requirements for key components of new automotive discovery & shopping experiences
• Write product documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design, and development teams

Requirements

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
• Experience with end to end product delivery
