About the position

The Senior Product Manager for AWS External Security Services will lead the strategy and product vision for innovative security features aimed at helping customers protect their workloads and services on AWS. This role involves defining product requirements, go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to prioritize features and drive product success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset, with a passion for security and cloud technology.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and product vision for AWS External Security Services.
• Own feature definition, prioritization, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to gather requirements and prioritize roadmap features.
• Develop business requirements documents for new capabilities.
• Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product features.
• Work with executive leadership to create a robust go-to-market strategy.
• Analyze complex business problems and make trade-off decisions between customer experience and time-to-market.

Requirements

• 5+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and feature delivery.
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex business problems.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and turn ambiguous ideas into products.
• Experience managing technical cybersecurity products and advocating for critical customers during planning.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar technical discipline.

Nice-to-haves

• Masters in computer science, cybersecurity, or MBA.
• Experience in building and driving adoption of cloud security solutions.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
• Experience with building Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP).
• Excellent intuition for customer experience to translate needs into product requirements.
• Experience with pricing and defining new KPIs for decision making.
