About the position

The Sr. Product Manager - Tech for Selling Partners Engagement Tech at Amazon is responsible for leading initiatives aimed at reducing packaging waste and enhancing customer experience through sustainable packaging solutions. This role involves strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and execution of programs that align with Amazon's Climate Pledge goals. The successful candidate will drive the adoption of ecommerce-friendly packaging among Selling Partners, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-visibility, cross-team initiatives including scoping, requirement gathering, technical design, implementation, and launch phases.
  • Define and document priorities during operational planning (OP) cycles and report progress through Monthly and Quarterly Business reviews.
  • Identify entitlement, technical and resource investments, and tradeoffs to inform roadmap and development prioritization across technical, business, and program teams.
  • Align senior leaders toward product vision, roadmap, and execution, including FBA, SCOT, Finance/Accounting, and Sustainability.
  • Identify, develop, and scale software, science, and analytics tools that motivate Selling Partners to adopt ecommerce packaging.
  • Reduce cross-organizational exposure to failure modes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Track record of superb cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

  • 6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.
