Sr. Product Manager - Technical, AFT Safety & Compliance

About the position

The Sr. Product Manager - Technical for AFT Safety & Compliance at Amazon is responsible for leading the product team to develop and enhance systems that ensure safety and compliance across Amazon's fulfillment network. This role involves defining the product vision, roadmap, and delivering critical products that improve safety for customers and associates. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and engineering teams to drive product strategy and execution in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for safety and compliance products.
• Deliver multiple critical products to enhance workplace safety.
• Collaborate with customers, product managers, stakeholders, and engineering leaders.
• Develop detailed business requirements that align with the team's vision.
• Build product roadmaps and manage the product life-cycle from design to release.
• Perform deep analytics on user-facing experiences to measure success.
• Monitor project execution and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality and integrity of the project throughout its lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product or program management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with feature delivery and product tradeoffs.
• Proven track record in owning and driving roadmap strategy.
• Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
• Ability to contribute to engineering discussions regarding technology decisions.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Strong advocacy for critical customers and stakeholders during planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
