About the position

The Sr. Product Manager - Technical for Alexa Audio is responsible for transforming the audio experience on Alexa by building innovative features related to music, podcasts, radio, and audiobooks. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality audio experiences across multiple devices and international markets. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, product management skills, and a passion for creating customer-centric solutions in the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI and LLM capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build Audio-related features on Alexa, focusing on new content creation and enablement.
  • Drive product creation across multiple audio media types, international locales, and devices.
  • Work closely with engineering, science, design, business intelligence, operations, finance, and executive teams to bring features to market.
  • Analyze service and business metrics to inform product decisions.
  • Write PRFAQs, BRDs, and iterate on product decisions with the Science and Engineering team.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and problems.
  • Synthesize customer feedback and industry knowledge to create strategies and test hypotheses.
  • Mentor and learn from other experts within the company and the tech community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
  • Master's degree
