About the position

The Sr. Product Manager - Technical for Amazon B2B Payments and Lending is responsible for developing innovative financial products that address the capital needs of small and medium-sized businesses. This role involves leading product definition, driving product creation, and creating business strategies to optimize performance. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product definition by owning and driving the customer working backwards strategy, long-term goals, and defining product features and services.
  • Drive product creation by collaborating with engineering, design, and research teams to build and iterate on products.
  • Create and drive business strategy by defining success metrics, reporting on KPIs, and optimizing performance based on data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop mechanisms to scale the team's efficiency and alignment.
  • Conduct data analyses and research gaps in business reporting to improve product metrics.
  • Manage project timelines and stakeholder communications to capture business and functional requirements.
  • Own executive reviews by presenting business and product vision, progress, and dependencies to executive stakeholders.
  • Lead the product go-to-market process, including user testing and program metrics management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree
  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
