About the position

As a Senior Product Manager - Technical for Amazon Connect, you will be responsible for driving the vision, product strategy, and requirements for the product portfolio. This role involves working closely with customers to define product vision, building roadmaps, collaborating with engineering teams, and launching new capabilities to enhance customer engagement through Amazon Connect's cloud contact center services.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to define a product vision based on their goals and challenges.
• Influence senior leaders across AWS and communicate product vision, strategy, goals, status, and customer impact.
• Build a roadmap and define features that delight customers, drive adoption, and increase utilization of services.
• Collaborate with engineering to build new capabilities and source customers for early adoption and beta testing.
• Launch and promote new capabilities in collaboration with product marketing.
• Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, technical blogs, and discussions to drive adoption of communication offerings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
• Experience in taking a product from conception and definition through engineering design to market.
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products, responsible for the full product lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies.
