About the position

As a Senior Product Manager - Technical on the Amazon Connect flows team, you will be responsible for driving the vision, product strategy, and requirements for Amazon Connect, a cloud contact center service. This role involves engaging with customers to define product vision, collaborating with engineering teams to build new capabilities, and launching new features to enhance customer engagement. You will work in a fast-paced environment, leading initiatives that require collaboration with various stakeholders and a focus on customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to define a product vision and roadmap based on their goals and challenges.
• Influence senior leaders across AWS and communicate product vision, strategy, goals, status, and customer impact.
• Build a roadmap and define features that delight customers and drive adoption of services.
• Collaborate with engineering to build new capabilities and source customers for early adoption and beta testing.
• Launch and promote new capabilities in collaboration with product marketing.
• Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, technical blogs, and discussions to drive adoption of communication offerings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
• Experience in taking a product from conception through engineering design to market.
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products, responsible for the full product lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies.
