About the position

The Amazon B2B Payments & Lending team is dedicated to providing the best payments and lending experience for Amazon's business customers. This role is crucial in developing innovative strategies that enhance customer adoption, profitability, and productivity through the creation of trusted, convenient, and frictionless products, including credit card offerings, lending solutions, and invoicing systems. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, including business leaders, finance professionals, data scientists, and software developers, to design and implement effective incentive products and service strategies. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough statistical analyses, developing product requirements, and understanding the economic impacts of your initiatives. In this highly visible position, you will be expected to lead the end-to-end product delivery process, collaborating with technical stakeholders such as Technical Program Managers (TPMs), Software Development Managers (SDMs), and Applied Scientists. You will influence the technical design at all stages of the product lifecycle and ensure that the trade-offs between technical costs and business value are optimized. Additionally, you will be responsible for launching A/B tests, conducting hypothesis analyses, and developing decision tree frameworks to assess the impact of your products. Your strong quantitative and data analytical skills will be essential in building predictive models and making data-driven decisions that align with Amazon's business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop incentive products with world-class user experiences through end-to-end product thinking, leading statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel, and other tools.
  • Oversee end-to-end product delivery, collaborating with technical stakeholders including Technical Program Managers (TPMs), Software Development Managers (SDMs), and Applied Scientists to influence technical design throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead internal technical discussions, managing trade-offs between technical costs and business value while optimizing QA/testing processes.
  • Launch A/B tests, weblabs, and hypothesis analyses, developing decision tree frameworks to guide product decisions.
  • Collaborate with scientists and economists to assess and measure impact, building predictive models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of product and technology experience.
  • Experience shaping and leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Proven experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Ability to bridge technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure timely delivery of committed work.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects involving both business and technical teams.
  • Experience launching A/B tests, e-commerce weblabs, and conducting hypothesis analyses.
