About the position

The Sr. Product Manager - Technical App Infrastructure at Vivint Smart Home is responsible for leading initiatives to optimize the performance, reliability, and security of the Vivint mobile app. This role focuses on enhancing app load times, managing the login experience, and ensuring the app's architecture supports future scalability. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain a seamless user experience while safeguarding user data and ensuring compliance with security best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance app performance by optimizing load times and improving responsiveness.
  • Manage the app login experience to ensure a secure and user-friendly process.
  • Ensure the reliability of the mobile app by monitoring and addressing performance issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement infrastructure improvements for the mobile app.
  • Oversee app security and maintain features that safeguard user data.
  • Work with engineering teams to architect scalable solutions for the mobile app.
  • Optimize app architecture to support new features and integrations.
  • Monitor app performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Improve the app's development framework for efficient feature deployment.
  • Prioritize infrastructure-related development items in alignment with company goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality updates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders for ongoing app infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager focusing on app infrastructure, performance, security, and reliability.
  • Strong understanding of app performance metrics, security protocols, and scalable architecture.
  • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects and balance short-term fixes with long-term goals.
  • Familiarity with mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and presenting complex issues.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and performance tracking.
  • 5+ years of relevant Product experience.
