About the position

The AWS Health organization is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to lead the vision and delivery of event management services. This role involves managing the full product lifecycle for critical services that provide insights into the health and availability of AWS services, ensuring timely communication to customers during incidents. The position offers the opportunity to innovate using AI/ML technologies and collaborate with expert teams to enhance AWS's event management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and execution of the product strategy for AWS Health and Event Management tooling
• Define and gather the necessary inputs to make high-quality product and roadmap decisions
• Work with leaders across AWS, Amazon, and partners to drive towards the product vision
• Define project requirements, priorities, methods for measurement, and track their execution and success
• Communicate with senior management on project status, strategy, risks, and issues
• Collaborate closely with multiple engineering teams and designers to deliver results to customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
• 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager
• 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields
• Experience in taking a product from conception and definition phase through engineering design to market
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products, responsible for the full product lifecycle.

• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies.
