About the position

The Sr. Product Manager (Technical) for AWS Social Responsibility & Impact will lead the development of the AWS AI/ML Scholarship program, focusing on enhancing educational technology solutions for underrepresented learners in tech. This role involves managing the product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high standards of privacy, security, and accessibility in learner-facing products. The position aims to create impactful educational experiences and establish a technical advising function for social impact organizations.

Responsibilities

• Envision, design, and implement the next evolution of the AWS AI/ML Scholarship.
• Partner with technical teams across AWS, especially in AI/ML service teams, to incorporate cutting edge AI into the scholarship experience.
• Author and evangelize the strategy for AWS's reputation in AI education and skilling in partnership with AWS Training & Certification.
• Establish an org-wide technical advising function for AWS Social Responsibility & Impact customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience building and scaling an edtech product.
