About the position

The Sr. Product Manager (Technical) for AWS Social Responsibility & Impact will lead the development of the AWS AI/ML Scholarship program, focusing on creating educational technology solutions that empower underrepresented learners in tech. This role involves managing the product lifecycle, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring high standards of privacy, security, and accessibility in learner-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Envision, design, and implement the next evolution of the AWS AI/ML Scholarship.
• Partner with technical teams across AWS, especially in AI/ML service teams, to incorporate cutting edge AI into the scholarship experience.
• Author and evangelize the strategy for AWS's reputation in AI education and skilling in partnership with AWS Training & Certification.
• Establish an org-wide technical advising function for AWS Social Responsibility & Impact customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience building and scaling an edtech product.
