About the position

The Sr Product Manager - Technical will lead the vision and strategy for utilizing Artificial Intelligence, specifically Large Language Models (LLMs), to enhance customer interactions with Amazon's Customer Service. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve customer support experiences, ensuring efficient problem resolution through automation. The successful candidate will manage key initiatives, conduct market analysis, and drive organizational goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year vision for the product portfolio.
• Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks and provide escalation management.
• Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve.
• Deliver long-lasting foundational systematic solutions for effective use of LLMs.
• Collaborate with leaders across various departments to identify and manage opportunities and initiatives.
• Define clear goals and objectives for the business in planning and execution.
• Assess product development efforts including research, requirements definition, and launch efforts.
• Influence senior leaders and communicate Amazon AI's vision and strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for critical customers during executive-level prioritization.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, or equivalent
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
• Experience with system architecture and optimization concepts
• Experience using analytical tools like Tableau or QuickSight.
