About the position

The OpsTech IT organization is a vital part of Amazon's WW Operations & Robotics team, responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting IT infrastructure, devices, and services across Amazon's Global Fulfillment Centers, Transportation, and Specialty Customer Solutions. This includes a wide range of services from Amazon Fresh to Prime Air. The OpsTech Infrastructure Product Management (OTIP) team is tasked with owning, defining, and operationalizing products and programs that ensure highly reliable IT infrastructure and world-class IT support. The primary goal is to improve service delivery speed, drive new innovations for customers, and optimize the HC gearing ratio. OTIP establishes and enforces the product development life cycle, supporting global operations customers and internal teams. We are looking for a seasoned product manager who will partner with customers during the discovery phase of the product development lifecycle, focusing on areas such as Device Technology, Network Design, and Network Automation. In this role, you will collaborate with technical leaders to define customer problems, business requirements, and oversee launch and post-launch measurement. You will also play a crucial role in aligning interests with partner teams across the company to implement scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, possesses strong attention to detail, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-impact programs and anticipate bottlenecks.
  • Provide escalation management and make trade-offs to balance business needs.
  • Break down large, complex projects into manageable pieces and deliver them successfully and timely.
  • Drive definition of customer problems and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to align interests and implement scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience owning feature delivery and trade-offs of a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
