About the position

The Sr Product Manager- Technical for Inventory Defects and Reimbursements at Amazon is responsible for leading initiatives within the Defect Prevention and Reconciliation (DP&R) organization. This role focuses on enhancing seller experience by leveraging AI and ML to analyze and mitigate inventory defects across the fulfillment supply chain. The position involves collaborating with engineering teams to develop technical solutions and improve operational processes, ultimately aiming to reduce seller contacts and costs associated with customer returns.

Responsibilities

• Improve seller experience and reduce unnecessary seller contacts.
• Utilize AI and ML to drive insights and recommendations to sellers to reduce their returns.
• Develop features that enhance the accuracy of systems and the experience of selling partners.
• Own technical solutions for customer returns cases to Support Operations.
• Automate workflows within the returns space.
• Partner with engineering teams to design feature experiences using advanced technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements.
• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
• Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering.
