About the position

As a Senior Product Manager - Technical (PMT III) at Amazon, you will lead the ideation, design, and development of innovative products and solutions within the Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of the business impact of OTS infrastructure solutions, strong technical judgment, and the ability to influence product roadmaps across various OTS verticals. You will collaborate with customers, vendors, and peers to define product requirements and deliver impactful solutions that drive significant value for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Leverage product management expertise to drive strategic decision-making for the OTS product portfolio.
• Conduct comprehensive data and market analysis to define product vision and roadmaps.
• Prioritize high-impact features to deliver exceptional customer value.
• Analyze technology alternatives and propose innovative solutions to complex product challenges.
• Identify and understand user needs through rigorous user research and feedback.
• Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders to drive alignment on product visions and goals.
• Facilitate smooth, coordinated product development to ensure successful delivery of OTS offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements.
• Experience in an operational environment developing and launching analytic products.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy.
• Experience in technical product management, program management, or engineering.
• Technical expertise in operating systems, databases, network infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing (AWS).
• Strong analytical abilities and strategic mindset for data-driven decision making.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience performing statistical analysis using SQL, Excel, and other tools.
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
• Experience with technologies like Hadoop, rules-based systems, and machine learning.
