The Seller Fees team within the Third Party Selling business at Amazon is a high-growth and strategically important area, responsible for the monetization of a $120B+ worldwide business. The Senior Product Manager (Sr. PMT) will play a crucial role in managing science-first products that inform fee setting and fee integrity efforts. This position requires collaboration with various teams, including Optimization, Causal Science, and Fee Strategy, to ensure that fee setting decisions are grounded in scientific inputs that accurately predict the downstream impact of these fees. Additionally, the Sr. PMT will work closely with the Machine Learning Science team and other stakeholders across multiple VP organizations to develop robust science solutions that ensure fees are charged accurately at Amazon's scale. In this role, the Sr. PMT will manage and execute large projects from inception to completion. This includes customer problem discovery, data gathering and analysis, designing innovative solutions, defining product requirements, and overseeing technical execution. The position demands engagement with science, engineering, and business stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle, managing prioritization and trade-offs among competing high-value opportunities, and contributing to roadmap and OP2 planning. The Sr. PMT will also be responsible for creating leadership review documents, including PRFAQs, vision documents, and monthly or quarterly business reviews. A typical day in this role may involve reviewing PRFAQs with senior leaders, defining product requirements for new features, addressing seller escalations regarding existing functionalities, providing updates for quarterly business reviews, and analyzing data to quantify the impact of recently launched features. This dynamic environment requires adaptability and a strong focus on delivering results that align with the strategic goals of the Seller Fees team.
