About the position

The Senior Product Manager - Technical for Visual Shopping at Amazon is responsible for leading the product management efforts for visual shopping and augmented reality solutions. This role involves creating a product roadmap, defining customer-facing requirements, and collaborating with engineering and design teams to deliver innovative features that enhance the shopping experience for customers. The position requires a strong technical background and a passion for developing customer-facing products that leverage visual modalities to facilitate confident purchase decisions.

Responsibilities

• Create the roadmap and key goal metrics for the videos/AR program.
• Share the roadmap and gain alignment with key stakeholders across engineering, science, design, and other stakeholder teams.
• Define customer facing requirements (user stories) for engineering, design, and science teams.
• Manage stakeholder communication and work with the partner teams to launch the video features across locales and devices.
• Ideate on new initiatives that move the videos product towards its north star.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
