About the position

As a Senior Technical Product Manager for Fastlane at PayPal, you will be instrumental in shaping how users create, manage, and extend their Fastlane Profile. This role focuses on conceptualizing and delivering innovative user experiences in a dynamic and complex domain, aimed at enhancing customer interactions with PayPal's payment solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities and define product roadmap to address customer needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to build consensus on projects.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, including ideation, requirements definition, design, development, and launch.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback, market research, and business impact.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and UX teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the product and user experience.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Fastlane.
  • Utilize analytics and metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimize the product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on consumer profile management experiences, preferably in the payments or e-commerce industry.
  • 5+ years of external customer facing experience focusing on payment solutioning or integration.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
