About the position

As a Senior Technical Product Manager for Fastlane at PayPal, you will be instrumental in shaping how users create, manage, and extend their Fastlane profiles. This role focuses on developing customer-centric experiences and transforming product offerings for global markets, particularly in the payments and e-commerce sectors. You will lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring innovative solutions that meet the needs of both consumers and merchants.

Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities and define product roadmap to address customer needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to build consensus on projects.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, including ideation, requirements definition, design, development, and launch.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback, market research, and business impact.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and UX teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the product and user experience.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Fastlane.
  • Use analytics and metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimize the product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on consumer profile management experiences, preferably in the payments or e-commerce industry.
  • 5+ years of external customer facing experience focusing on payment solutioning or integration.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
