About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at Omnicell is a pivotal role focused on developing and executing marketing programs for the company's Point of Care solutions. This position is designed for a passionate individual who can create compelling commercialization strategies and storytelling that resonate with target audiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, enhancing client satisfaction, and improving client performance by effectively communicating the value and differentiation of Omnicell's services to customers and industry influencers. The role requires collaboration with various teams, including sales, product management, and client services, to shape the product narrative and ensure that the marketing efforts align with customer needs and market opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Management and cross-functional teams to anticipate the needs of customer-facing teams when new products, features, enhancements, and fixes are released. You will empower client-facing teams by creating essential marketing collateral and sales enablement materials, such as presentations, FAQs, quoting guides, and training materials. Additionally, you will define insights into customer needs and market opportunities by actively engaging with sales and customer success teams, presenting to clients, and embedding these insights within product narratives and stories. Monitoring competitive activity is also a key responsibility, as you will need to adjust, update, or refine the value proposition to further differentiate Omnicell's products and services. You will support customer-facing teams by leveraging deep knowledge of your product and related internal stakeholders, and partner with Marketing and Sales teams to build the funnel for your product, accelerating the time to close deals. As a demonstration expert for your product, you will deliver demonstrations and train others to provide effective demonstrations as well.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to anticipate the needs of customer facing teams when new products, features, enhancements, and fixes are released.
  • Empower client-facing teams by creating marketing collateral and sales enablement materials including presentations, FAQs, quoting guides, training materials, and messaging.
  • Define insights into customer needs and market opportunities by engaging with sales and customer success teams, presenting to clients, and embedding these insights within product narratives and stories.
  • Formalize product proof points as well as differentiated and engaging packaging and positioning strategies.
  • Monitor competitive activity and adjust, update, or refine the value proposition to further differentiate products and services.
  • Support customer-facing teams by obtaining and leveraging deep knowledge of the product and related internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to build the funnel for the product and accelerate the time to close deals.
  • Serve as a demonstration expert for the product, delivering demonstrations and training others to provide demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree + 7 years' experience in a product marketing role OR HS Diploma/GED + 9 years' experience in product marketing.
  • 3+ years' experience within the technology/healthcare/medical sector.
  • Customer obsessed with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Experience executing commercialization strategies, programs, and tactics for technical products.
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to design and create compelling pitch decks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively at multiple levels of the organization, including product management, sales, and operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be accountable for results.
  • Passion for transforming the healthcare experience for healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer savvy.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A knack for problem-solving with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to see how details fit into the overall picture.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
