About the position

The Amazon Payments Team is seeking a strategic marketer to lead customer lifecycle initiatives for Amazon Credit Cards. This role involves developing and executing marketing campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing campaign performance, optimizing strategies, and communicating results to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives end to end, working with cross functional teams - legal, finance, product, design, data science, and bank partners - to optimize, execute and deliver campaigns.
  • Work with other marketers on the team to test and learn in new and existing marketing channels on Amazon.com.
  • Create on-brand, best in class content, targeted to appropriate customers and effectively build lifecycle marketing campaigns for our credit products.
  • Manage internal and external design and research agencies to create marketing campaigns and market research studies if needed.
  • Analyze the performance of campaigns, and share results of campaigns with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Manage initiatives with external financial partners, working backwards to ensure a streamlined execution and approval process to launch.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
